Who We Are
We are a group of African women who believe in the principles of respect for Mother Earth and being stewards of the lands we occupy. We strive to use sustainable practices that benefit our environment and the local community.
We use natural fertilizers, minimize our water usage, and source local ingredients whenever possible.
We promote Agroforestry and Permaculture systems which replenish the soil and increase biodiversity. We find affordable and natural solutions to problems that we share with the community through tactile learning.
Our goal is to help empower women poultry farmers by introducing an affordable method of raising chickens.
We are committed to providing economic opportunities for our local communities while also protecting the environment. We strive to create a sustainable future for generations to come.
OUR MISSION
It is our mission to provide multiple streams of economic stability to poultry women farmers, and soil management in the form of composting to the youth of Ghana.
Help Poultry Farmers Need.
According to the Ghana Ministry of Agriculture Ghana imports up to 80% of chicken meat. And in an article published online all too often imported chickens are pumped full of chemical preservatives and frozen for up to three years before being exported to Ghana.
PLUS
We focus on utilizing chickens to produce fertile compost giving farmers a unique opportunity to promote sustainable agriculture and provide a steady income thus breaking the cycle of poverty in rural Ghana.
